Best non D SLR camera?
What is the best non D SLR cameras, but best digital camera with the most features, the easiest to use, and is fairly cheap to buy. I would love to get a SLR camera but from the reviews I have heard the best cheap one is $1000+ which I for sure don’t have money for.

I have the same question. I have looked at the canon g7, a640, and a few others. I am looking for something not too bulky but still with decent manual controls. I do some enlarging so id like it to have high MP count. any suggestions?
However, the Fuji’s, particularly some of the older ones were probably the best in low light/high ISO situations. Two that come to mind are the F31 and the S6000 (both discontinued models) Since the Panasonics are more noisy than the others, your best bets are the Canon S3 IS (6mp, very nice swivel display), the Sony H2(6mp)/H5(7mp) which have more noise reduction compared with to the Canon in higher ISOs, yet still give good results, and the Fuji S6000fd(6mp) which performs very well concerning noise, but lacks IS.
I do agree the with you the best SLR Cameras cost you nearly 1000$$. But I think the sony camera are cheap and even they have good features in it and even they are very handy to use. You can check on Amazon abt the features and rates of them.
The F810′s 32mm wide angle end of the lens is good enough for most street shots. I think of it as a 28mm without having to crop anymore, or a 35mm without regretting that I should have taken a few more steps back. It has manual exposure modes, three focusing modes including manual, and up to 6MP (or 12MP interpolated). I really like the thumb dial that controls shutter, f-stop, focusing, etc. in the back of the camera. This is what sold it for me.
