SLR Camera Digital Lenses

For many, taking photos is not only a way to capture the smiles on vacation, it’s their hobby or passion. For these people, when it comes to choosing a high-quality camera and subsequent lenses, there is no other choice than a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera. Not only are the modern digital SLR cameras able to reproduce photographs of extreme quality and clarity, they are becoming much more user-friendly due in part to the wide variety of Camera Digital Lenses now available.

Before rushing out to buy a new digital lens for your camera, there are a number of points for you to consider.
For starters, everyone needs to own what is commonly known as a primary lens. The primary digital camera lenses are non-specialist everyday lenses that you would use most of the time when you don’t require zoom, wide angle, macro or a high shutter speed. So basically, your primary lens is the nuts and bolts of your SLR set up. It is normal that you would use your primary for most everyday shots including portraits and stills so it is highly recommended that you invest in quality camera digital lenses from the beginning. Therefore it’s a good idea to do your product research before you buy to make sure the lens is compatible and does all that you want.

Next on your camera digital lenses hit list is probably a quality zoom lens. Dependant on the type of shot you are after, there are a number of zoom lens options open to you, and unfortunately it’s not really a ‘one size fits all’ issue and depends on the distance over which you want to zoom in on your subject. You should bear in mind though that as a general rule, the greater the zoom, the greater the chance your picture quality will be compromised in relation to clarity and focus. Because of this, many people choose a compact or short range zoom lens as a primary zoom lens and invest in a second digital zoom lens that has a greater zoom length for real close up shots. At least one quality zoom lens is a must for any serious photographer, you will find that most professionals have many more. Again, do your homework to make sure you get the right camera digital lenses for you, size does matter but it’s not necessarily the case that biggest is best.

Last but not least on your list of required camera digital lenses should be the wide angle lens. A wide angle lens is useful when you have a fairly wide subject but not the distance to shoot it.If you have a great panorama or scenic view to shoot, this is the lens you would use for that shot. You can produce some amazing results with a quality wide angle lens but remeber it’s use is limited.

In summary, if you equip yourself with all 3 camera digital lenses above, you should be more than ready to not only tackle but also produce some amazing results from almost any situation. Finally, do your homework, work out which lenses are best for you before you buy and search out the best deal for each lens.
