The theme is “Innovation in History: Impact and Change.”
My ideas were:

Any other ideas? I wanted something that had to do with photography or music, but I’m open to all good or interesting ideas. :]
Mathew Brady would be an excellent subject for photographic innovations in history that had an impact and changed things. Summary below is from wikipedia. There’s much more about him in the wikipedia article and on the web. If you go to images.google.com and type in Mathew Brady, you can get a bunch of his photos there:

“Mathew B. Brady (1822 – January 15, 1896) was one of the most celebrated 19th century American photographers, best known for his portraits of celebrities and the documentation of the American Civil War. He is credited with being the father of photojournalism.”

If you do decide to research him, remember that he spelled his first name with only one “t”, not two.
