While the new model features a mildly updated platform in comparison to last year’s, some of the upgrades are pretty fun, while other serve a heavy purpose. New features include XM NavTraffic for real time traffic updates, standard touch-screen navigation on all models, optional rear view cameras and an “Eco-Indicator” light to make sure you’re driving as efficiently as possible.
But that’s not all of the great benefits and upgrades your Hyundai dealers in Indianapolis are featuring as part of the 2010 Santa Fe. New powertrains offer big improvements in fuel efficiency. The base model comes standard with a 2.4-liter DOHC Theta II inline four cylinder engine that puts out 175 horsepower, while an optional 3.5-liter Lambda II engine pumps 276 horsepower. The mileage figures have been upped 20 miles per gallon in city driving and between 26 and 28 miles per gallon on the highway.
