Three Home Security Ideas You Won’t Regret Action on

What is a home—other than the most important possession you will ever acquire in your life?!  A home is, furthermore, much more than just a possession: it is an ideal, a goal, something which represents us and our families at the most fundamental level.  Considering just how incredibly the home is and how incredibly sanctified it is in our culture as in practically every culture on the face of the earth, what task could possibly occupy higher priority on your list of things to do (assuming you are indeed a home owner) than ensuring home security?  Surely there is nothing more important on a home owner’s plate, and in light of the incredible importance which security in general has in our lives here we’d like to go over a brief list of three security ideas that will have home owners feeling more confident and secure than ever regarding their property and the condition of their loved ones who live therein.  So here you have it—three home security ideas that you most definitely won’t regret having put into action:

1.  Fingerprint door locks.  Door locks are a major cause for concern when it comes to maintaining security levels high: they are simply too easy to pick!  Sure, there are sophisticated key-operated door locks out there that hardly a burglar in the world will be able to pick, but it would seem that not a single home owner has invested in such locks.  The average home has incredibly easy-to-defeat door locks in place which a crafty burglar can first of all detect with relative ease and furthermore pick in a few short seconds with the most rudimentary of tools.  Put all of that behind you with the installation of today’s latest fingerprint-activated door locks: they give burglars just as well as other uninvited persons no feasible way of forcing the locking mechanism at all.  They can be configured to detect the fingerprints of only one of perhaps several different people, depending on the home owner’s preference, and they are virtually fail-safe.

2.  CCTV systems.  If there is one thing that burglars hate, it’s knowing that their mug is being recorded on video—and that’s what makes having a home CCTV surveillance camera system in place such a good idea in terms of home security!  Today’s camera systems do away with all the complications of yesterday’s systems, as digital recording media make the storage of long hours of footage much easier and practicable, and generally easier to manage.  Beyond this basic consideration, today’s latest camera systems have quite advanced capabilities such as being able to follow moving objects when the alarms is activated, just to mention the coolest example.

3.  Glass-break detectors.  Your home security system already includes door and window protection strips, but you’ve probably yet to add glass-break detector capabilities to the system yet.  Such detectors, when installed on (generally) first floor windows and glass panes, help detect one of the most common methods thieves use for breaking into homes—and that makes them an excellent home security device.
