The New Era Of Digital Cameras

There are some people who still hang on to their old fashioned cameras that use film cartridges that you must take down to your local developing center in order to get your pictures made. They still waste money having pictures developed that did not take or shots they wish they had not taken. They have to wait for days for the pictures to come back when using these kinds of old fashioned cameras.

Many professional photographers still use the film version cameras, but that is the difference. They are professionals and we are not. Their cameras can cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars. They have all kinds of technical lenses and technical skills that we do not. That is why so many of us average photography loving people have turned to digital photos and video.

While it is true that when you use a digital camera for photos or video, you can still choose to take it to your local developer and get your prints or DVDs made. Sometimes you can use their equipment and do your own photos, or they can do it times while you wait in some cases.

The alternative to that is to do your own digital stuff at home on your computer. With a little practice, a printer and DVD burner, you can become quite good at printing and copying your own digital photos and video. Number one, it can be so convenient and number two, it is a lot of fun. You can make changes, improvements, and crop your digital photos to your satisfaction before you print them. You can edit your video and add music before you burn your DVDs. It is a great to use your own personal touches for these things.

If you have an internet connection through your cable, satellite, or phone service, there are ways to send your stuff to someone else and have it done if you wish, but you would miss all that fun. Another advantage of digital photos and video is that using your internet connection, you can send these photos and video by email or instant messaging to anyone else with internet access. This is one of the most fun and fastest ways to share your images with friends and loved ones.

If you have not yet tried to do your own digital photos and video, you do not know what you are missing. You can learn to be a good photographer and more with just a little practice.
