Can anyone tell me the main differences between the Canon drebel Xt and the more recent XTI cameras?

Can someone tell me if the lens (the one thats included) is autofocus or not?

HI Cris. I have both of those cameras and I would recommend either one. I have had absolutely no trouble with them… they handle nicely, and are completely user friendly straight out of the box. The XT with 8 megapixels was introduced in 2005 while the XTi with 10 megapixels came out in 2006. The lenses that come with the cameras are absolutely autofocus… and of good quality. If you want to save a little more money, go with the Xt… If you are interested in more megapixels… the XTi is your choice… but as I mentioned earlier, both have been fine sturdy cameras for me and I recommend both.
