Nikon D5000 vs Canon EOS 500D?
Looking to buy a DSLR camera. A beginner with SLR cameras. I’ve been reading reviews and watvhing videos about each of these but still can’t decided which is the best for me. Which is the best for a beginner?

Yes Nikon limits the video to 5 min. but they are protecting the camera from the user. Canon doesn’t care if you screw up the camera that means they will get more of our money for repair.
By the way the D5000 is not made in China like Shaun T claims.
