Canon Sd1200Is – Best Camera Weve Ever Owned
We’ve owned several digital cameras over the years (Fujifilm, Cybershot) but I can say with confidence that this is the best camera we have EVER owned. The photos look GREAT, and the HD videos are good too.
Two cool features when previewing pics on the camera:
* you can tilt the camera sideways and pictures in portrait will rotate and fill the screen… just like an iphone!
* when you switch pics it adds a nice slideshow effect.
Use this with Windows Live Gallery which automatically downloads and sorts everything by date and you are done! BTW, I bought a 4GB SD memory card right here from amazon and I think we will never fill it up. 1000+ 10MP pictures.
I have used digital point and shoot cameras from Canon earlier and I have found them to be exactly what they state it to be. I am not a professional photographer and have found Canon SD1200IS to be an excellent digital camera for first time and novice photographers. The cool blue color of the camera looks exciting and different from other branded cameras.
The battery life is good especially when you use the camera with the flash turned off. The camera is highly compact and light weight, easy to carry and produces some great pictures.
The shopping experience from amazon as always has been really good. No problems what so ever. The package arrived on time in good packaging condition. I am really satisfied with the overall shopping experience.
Canon SD1200IS – Great Little Camera
I’m strictly a point & click person with a tendency to get blurry pictures because I don’t hold the camera as steady as I should. I bought this camera just before a big trip to China. I’m not sure what other types of cameras that people in our tour group had however when we came back and exchanged photos, I have to say that mine were the clearest and sharpest. This was especially noticeable in the pictures that I took in dim light.
This camera has a manual mode with all sorts of features but I can’t review that because I’d use them.
