What point-and-shoot would you recommend for 2010?
I’ve been looking for a replacement camera for my Nikon Coolpix S630 which takes horribly soft photos and absolutely dreads low light/night shots/indoor photography. My criteria for picking is the following:
Needs:
- Optical zoom greater or equal to 7x (260mm)
- Ability to take sharp low light photos (no flash)
- Ability to take sharp indoor photos
- Generally high degree of sharp photos. Did I mention sharp? 
Needs, but can do without if necessary:
- Bracketing for HDR
- Compact size
- RAW format
I know that a DSLR will satisfy most if not all of these but I’m not there yet.
In terms of compact size, as long as I’m able to either drop it in a cargo pant pocket (read: not ‘slip into your shirt pocket’ small) or at the very least be able to put it in a suitcase for car rides, that’s my target size. So what would you recommend? Thanks!
