Digital cameras?

I am looking to buy a digital camera but don’t know really what to look for. I plan on buying a second hand camera at a pon shop.It is just to take pics of my soon to be new born and family.I found a 4mp+base +charger kodak easyshare end neg to 90 original price 120$.What shoul i be looking for?sugestions on good cameras not to expensive.I am clueless stiil use to 35mm cameras. thank you

Kodak’s are decent and usually a good value, but make sure to get a charger and a memory card. Also, optical zoom is way more important than digital zoom. Digital zoom is something you can always do on the computer later on.

90 dollars for the 4MP base and charger sounds okay to me. Make sure there is a guarantee in case the thing dies in the next month or so. Kodaks are not easily repaired.
