How to Attract Car Buyers in Pakistan with a Great Online Classifieds Ad

With so many used cars being sold every day in Pakistan, you need to get creative and noticed for your car to sell. An easy, yet effective way is to advertise your car on several online classifieds.

Finding good online classifieds is fairly simple. All you need to do is Google used cars for sale in Pakistan and you’ll find thousands of websites. Stick to the ones on the first two to three pages. The reason I say this is that some of the websites on your first page might have lesser traffic coming in compared to the sites on your second or even third page.

Make sure the site has free classified ads and lets you upload pictures and even videos. Pictures are a great way of letting the buyer see your car without actually visiting your place. Take at least four photographs. Set your digital camera resolution on high and make sure your car is parked in a bright spot. A nice scenery or landscape can really attract buyers as it adds to the look of the car. Take the front picture such that you capture the front and one side of the car, repeating the same procedure at the back but for the other side. Take a picture of the interior especially the dashboard and one of the engine.

Before you upload the picture use a photo editor to reduce the width of your pictures to about four hundred and the file size to around eighty kb. The size reduction will help your pictures load easier for buyers with lower speed internet connections. Some websites have slideshows as well and these run much smoother with low sized pictures.

Videos can be great tools for attracting buyers. It allows the buyer to hear what you have to say and you get to pitch without any interruptions. Keep it short, under a minute and a half and try to keep the file size under an mb or two. Talk a bit about when you bought the car, how you maintained it, how it runs fine and some features. Get footage of the entire car, inside and out. Videos have a great impact on people.

The next thing you need to do is come up with a great ad title and description. Use adjectives such as ‘Immaculate’ ‘Mint’ to describe the condition of the car. Use uppercase letters to highlight key features. Mention its qualities and if you’re selling at a lower price draw the user’s attention to it. Most good websites will help you with the details by prompting you to fill in common features in a car. You can add a bit of description on your own to convince the buyer to contact you. Unless you really are in a hurry to sell your car, do not mention that in your ad title or description, as it sounds suspicious. Sound genuine and be honest.
