Looking for advice for a digital SLR camera for Amature photography?
I am looking to purchase a digital SLR camera for a bit of amature photography, but with the wealth of camera’s available out there, I am unsure which route to go down. I have however, heard good things about both Canon and Nikon, so may concentrate my efforts with these two brands. I would also like the camera to be under £300 ($443). Any suggestions?
Sony A200 with 18-70mm lens is around £260 on Amazon. Superb camera and at that price it is a steal!
There is a lot of brand snobbery around Nikon and Canon, that’s why you hear good things. Sony bought Minolta, who made some of the finest cameras. At that price, nothing can compete with the Sony A200 feature list, certainly not the old D40!
