Why don’t digital cameras actually record what you see in dim light conditions?
In dim light situations, you are often able to see your subject in your digital camera view screen in sufficient light detail, and yet when the picture is taken, you’re left with a picture that’s far darker or even black compared to what you saw on the view screen? You would THINK that if you see the subject on the view screen, the digital camera would simply record that?
Why would a digital camera behave like a conventional SLR camera, where you can see your subject, but the film cannot?
Folks, I’m referring to the view SCREEN, which is a LCD display which is obviously fed infromation coming from the camera’s CCD. I am not talking about looking through the tiny viewfinder where there’s no computer display.
No Film… Our technology took a back seat on this one… We went backwards.
