How do I actually get the answer to these, can you work out the math problems so I can see how they work ? Thanks so much!!
1. An item was $75.00 and is now $50.25 what is the percant discount? I got .33% is this wrong?
2. Two dvds are on sale for 15% off there origianl prices of $21.49 and $19.99. How much did you spend on both, round your answer to the nearest cent.
I got $35.50 is this very wrong?
3. The markup on a camera is 125% . The wholesale price is $97.00 What is the retail price?
4. You eat lunch at a diner and pay $6.50 and $1.50 for a drink. You leave a 20% tip and the sales tax is 7%. What is the total cost?

1. 75 – 50.25 = 24.75 , make it a fraction 24.75 over 75 then divide to get = .33 but then you have to move the decimal point two places to the right to get = 33%
# 2. 15% = .15 then multiply that by 21.49 = 3.22 , 19.99 x .15 = 3.00 so then you subtract 21.29 – 3.22 = 18.27, then 19.99 – 3.00 = 16.99, then you add 18.27 + 16.99 = $35.26
