Many of these styles also come in an array of colors that allows the couple to coordinate cameras to the rest of the reception décor.

How to Use

Many couples find that the easiest way to add disposable cameras to the special day is to set them on the reception tables. This allows guests to take photos throughout the reception time, which is when most of the activity takes place. It is a good idea to place a note next to the disposable cameras, inviting guests to snap photos throughout the event, and letting them know that the couple will handle the developing of the photos afterward. Numbering the cameras according to the table they are placed at will ensure that each one makes it back to its original location and may provide a clue as to who took the pictures. It may also encourage guests to return the cameras after use, since a few may notoriously “disappear” throughout the day.

At the end of the reception, assign a person from the wedding party to collect up all the disposable cameras or leave a basket near the exit for guests to deposit the cameras into. Once the cameras have been collected, couples can have all of the film placed onto CDs so they can scan the pictures taken and only print the keepers. This also allows the option of posting the photos to a website or sending them by email to guests, so they can print the photos they would like to keep as well.
