Then came the TSR and LSR – Twin lens reflex cameras and Single reflex cameras which flooded the market for a long long duration.
TSR and LSR’s were subsequently replaced by instant and automated cameras which were better not only in terms of technology but also good in their output. Hence, these were much easily absorbed by the market and got circulated like anything. Finally, these were replaced by upgraded digital cameras which are used everywhere today.
The first digital camera which recorded photos or images as computerized files was Fuji DS – 1P, the model launched in the year 1988. It used 16MB of internal memory card which used a battery to keep the images in the memory. Today’s digital cameras are however much better and far improved than the ones found in the year 1988.
