with all the speed cameras and limits,is there any point in buying expensive fast cars ?
i mean il never get to drive them fast without getting a ticket or going to jail. i live in london by the way

Of course there is.
In the UK you can attend track days thus driving them at speed on race tracks.
Or drive to Germany and drive them on the unrestricted autobahns.
getting expensive fast cars is not all about being able to drive them to there limit.
Most of them have limited driving aids and they are “fun” to drive on good roads even at the speed limit.
