How do you become a tv news camera man? do you need to go to college for it? also how much do they get paid?

I was wondering how to become one and also do you need to study it in college?I live in th U.S.

To be a TV News Photographer you could go to school, some people who currently are haven’t done so. But the more experience and knowledge you have, the better possibility you have of obtaining a job quicker.

Some of the courses that would prepare you for this career are photography, media studies and or film making.

As for the how much you’ll make, that mostly depends on the market you’re in. Some affiliate stations don’t have “set” salaries; it mostly depends on your experience, knowledge and over all ability to preform the job.
