As Orwell’s described on his fiction novel, people is basically controlled in this current society. There is not freedom to be walking on the streets without feel someone else’s eyes on us controlling from somewhere. A real example is evident in the British capital, London. There are surveillance cameras on its streets watching people 24/7. Governments say its purpose is because of population security, but the reality is they want to being watching what they do (the population) and even listen to them. This is a violation to the privacy life of any individual not matter if they are on the public streets. Nobody has to be paying attention to our own business.
