Mallbox Announces Panasonic Dmw-Bcf10 Batteries
Panasonic DMC-FH1 (DMC-FS11) and DMC-FH3 (DMC-FS11) power comes from a proprietary DMW-BCF10 Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries (also called DMW-BCF10E, DMW-BCF10PP) with ID-Security feature that prevents use of counterfeit or third-party DMWBCF10 batteries. The DMW-BCF10 battery life is also as powerful as approx. 350 pictures shooting thanks to the highly energy efficient image processing LSI, the Venus Engine VI.
As we know, Panasonic has an updated program for their cameras e.g., DMC-FH3, DMC-FH1, DMC-FX68, DMC-FX66 that can detect if a non-panasonic BCF10 battery is being used in their cameras and will shut the camera down. We would imagine that all cameras that Panasonic now ships out will have some type of this programming.
This Panasonic DMW-BCF10 battery is fully-decoded and 100% compatible with most current firmware version v1.0, v1.1, v1.2 or later, thus it will work with any camera that was originally equipped with it.
