Parents in fluorescent yellow city-issued vests, emblazoned with words “walking school bus” met students near the school bus and escort them inside. In one instance there were at least 8 patrol cars and one paddy wagon outside a school to get kids safely inside a school. IS THIS WHAT IT TAKES TO GET OUR KIDS SAFELY TO SCHOOL? Even the kids have have protested the violence and are calling for more gun control measures. What do you think can be done to quell the violence?
People have to wake up. Parents need to do some major control on their children. In the days of strong discipline, this did not happen and guns were definitely around then.
