Samsung G600 Review – Camera Phone With Advanced Features

When the Samsung G600 was first released, one of its most prominent and easily noticed features was the 5 megapixel camera that previously had only been present in such designs as Nokia’s large N95. Yet, here there was something that was certainly a 5 megapixel camera, gracing the fairly slim, and nice looking frame of a slidephone. If this alone wasn’t enough to cause most to perk up and pay attention, not much else would.

Features of a Samsung G600

Of course, as the crowning jewel of this particular Samsung phone, the 5 megapixel camera is really pretty self explanatory. Essentially, by capturing video and images in excellent quality, the camera manages to ensure that the end product vastly resembles using a real standalone digital camera. Even included for further shot-taking pleasure is a flash and auto-focus system that contributes well towards the flexibility that the Samsung G600 offers. Lastly, just to top it off, the slider system that is used blends well with the camera, protecting it when the keypad is not slid down, unlike some other phones.

Further providing an enhanced overall experience is the large screen of the Samsung G600. With 240×360 resolution and 16 million colours, it is certainly Samsung’s best yet, and comes close to anything else that competition offers. Both camera and screen work well in tandem, by utilising the camera’s panorama mode that features well on the horizontal wide screen.

As would be expected from a phone of this stature, there  is also the now-customary music player, which in the case of the Samsung G600 allows support for two Bluetooth headsets. Also, packed in is USB connectivity, a FM radio, as well as more than sufficnet memory with 40 MB of internal storage, and further memory card support that even includes a 1GB card with each mobilephone.

Great Camera Phone

Although other phones may surpass the Samsung G600 in various areas, that does not detract from the fact that it is a solid, slim, hip-looping camera phone that can take excellent pictures and display them to great effect on its very own screen. Not only is it well designed and far better than most of the preceding 5 megapixel cameras, but it also trumps a good deal of other phones with its extensive features.

A great deal of its strengths lie in the fact that it is completely functional, without any of the sometimes irritating features such as the touch sensitive keys of past models that tended to not go down well with customers. Samsung seems to have learnt from such mistakes and in the G600 it would appear that they have packaged together only everything that works well, without the science experiments.

Therefore, for anyone that desires mobile phone deals that offer dependable yet feature-filled mobile phones, then it would be worthwhile taking special note of the Samsung G600. Even a year onwards from its release, this particular mobile phone seems destined to be around for quite some time with its stability and design.
