A Simple Digital Camera – What to Look For
If you are searching for a simple digital camera because you are not that literate when it comes to all of the difficult and technical aspects of a camera, then you need to know exactly what to look for in a camera.
1) Focus – Make sure the camera you choose has an auto focus, this way when you are in the act of taking the picture you won’t have to worry about fiddling around with the focus to make sure the picture is clear. The manual focus should also be in an area that is close to the fingertips in case you do have to do it manually. There is nothing worse than someone posing and you have them waiting because you can’t get the camera in focus.
2) LCD Monitor – You want to make sure your simple digital camera comes with a nice size LCD monitor that enables you to change the aspects of the picture such as portrait, background, whether you want to be in still or video mode, etc…It should display in easy to read terms and you should not have to guess what the image would look like after you made any changes other than the default settings. A good preview would be really nice.
3) Price – Of course price should also determine whether a specific camera is right for you. Although you want to be able to take really good pictures, you don’t want to break the bank while doing so. It is your duty to search around for a camera that meets not only your personal needs but also your financial. Always remember that you get what you pay for. If you buy something too cheap then the chances are the quality of the photos will be cheap as well.
If you are not too picky about what the photos come out to look like then maybe cheap is the way to go. If you want professional looking pictures in a simple digital camera, then you may have to pay more than what you are used to. You can get a great camera that performs like a professional camera but not for the professional price. Basically it all depends on what you are looking for.
