Packing list..First road trip. Help!?
I’m going on a 24 hour drive to Palm Springs, California, from Oregon. I’m 16 this is my fist major road tip by myself, here is my packing list should I include anything else?
–Parents usually have great ideas on what to pack, my parents can’t think of anything else I’m missing can you guys?

How exciting!! Sounds like you are ready to go. I have four boys and we take road trips across the country all the time so it means something when I say I am impressed. Actually, you are packing way more than I ever have, perhaps because my car is full of children! My advice is more regarding tips on staying awake. Sometimes coffee isn’t enough. I like celery and apples. They are crunchy and refreshing. Ice from the gas stations works really well, the cold wakes you up and, again, its refreshing. But the best thing, for me, is to not stress too much. I just make sure I have my wallet, my phone and all my kids. Anything else I may be forgetting is not too big of a deal. Have a great trip!
ps my son is turning 16 this year and will have to drive his new car from Texas to California. Can he borrow your list-minus the tampons and makeup (I hope!) Hee, hee!
