Red traffic light camera question?

does anyone know how long after the traffic light changes to red that the camera activates?
is it like the second the light’s on red or a couple seconds lee-way?
same as with speeding when they normally allow 10%+2 over the limit lee-way
and also how far from the stop line are the sensors?
cos i went thru one the ova day, the light was definatly on amber as I went pass the stop line but I was definatly well pass the stop line once it got to red (and I was not speeding or doing an amber light gamble or anything) traffic was going fairly slow anyway and I wouldn’t have been able to stop safely without either ending up blocking the junction or causing the car behind to possibly shunt me, would I have got clocked or anything? I know it may be a bit stupid, but no stupid answers please. I am willing to accept a ticket if I have been clocked but I was definatly fully beyond the line b4 it got 2 red

As far as I know, you have to enter the intersection- cross the white line, AFTER the light turns red. Amber lights are supposed to be 3 seconds long.
Some places have them shorter to increase $$
