I Need Camera Adviice~!?

I was thinking of buying a new camera for holiday purposes. I was thinking of 9MegaPixels and higher. And around $150-230. Also I was planning to buy it in either, Walmart, Sears, BestBuy or FutureShop. Thanks for the help in advance~! (P.S Make sure the product is found in Canada!)
