What Equipment You Need To Hunt Ghosts

If you want to form a paranormal investigation team to hunt ghosts then you better be prepared. So many people go to a haunted location and expect to see ghosts, usually nothing will come out of this and if it does then you have nothing to show for it. If you want to hunt ghosts then there are a few things you will need to order to conduct a successful paranormal investigation. These are; a digital camera, and video camera, a sound recording device, notepad and pen, watch, torch and paranormal data analysis software. In this article I’ll explain why you need to each of these items.

Digital Camera

If you have one of these available then they are a lot easier than an analogue camera to transfer to a pc so you can make a detailed analysis. They also tend to hold a lot more photos witch is a major bonus.

Video Camera

Again try to use a digital camera for making videos or at least something that you will be able to transfer information to a pc easily from.

Sound Recording Device

A sound recording device is essential if you want to take any EVP readings. If you use an analogue recorder then you will need some background noise to pick anything up, with a digital you don’t need this.

Notepad, Pen And Watch

This is very obvious and very important. You will need to make notes on everything that you see, hear or feel. Make a note of the time, experience and location.

Torch

Most people tend to work in the dark. If this is the case then always bring a torch with you, especially if your camera doesn’t have a flash.

Analysis Software

You will be needing professional ghost hunting software to analyse the data you have collected. This will make the whole process of cross referencing a lot easier and will be able to generate a clearly presented professional conclusion at the end.

As you can see most of these items you will already own. If you are a beginner and don’t have all of these resources available to you then you can get them fairly cheap. You don’t need top quality equipment to conduct a professional investigation. Remember you can always ask family and friends or fellow members of the team you are getting together if they have equipment you can use. The more you have the better!
