OMFG HELP MEEE PLEASE!!!?
I was borrowing my dad’s camera. when i was done, i took my memory card out, put his back in, and turned it off.
when i took it out to use it again, (AND YES, I MADE SURE THE BATTERIES I WAS USING WEREN’T DEAD) it was all messed up.
here’s the story:
-the camera is a black GE camera.
-on the front, it says 12.1 megapixel and A1230.
-it has one of those rotating wheelson the top right for putting it in the right mode.
-next to the wheel, there’s a light that you want to line up the correct mode with.
-when i turn the camera on, instead of the lens coming out and it turning on like normal, the power button lights up, and the light next to the wheel blinks in turn with the power button blinking.
-this is not good!! can anyone tell me whats wrong??
please help. 10 points and if i could give you something more, i would.

What does “messed up” mean?
If you put it back in the camera, does it work?
If yes, transfer the pictures another way – via USB.
If you don’t care about the content in the camera – Two thinks to try
a) In Windows – Do a file check (it is just another drive) – you may lose a few pictures
b) Reformat it completely, either on the PC or the camera.
