Article Writing for Unlimited Traffic
Can you make money in affiliate marketing? You bet you can. All it takes is perseverance and hard work. We all know we have to work to get anywhere in life. This isn’t any different. So what are you waiting for? Go for it!
In this article, I want to give you a guideline to follow when you start your affiliate marketing business. First of all, you will need a website to promote your affiliate programs. And it must be a good website. You must have a way to bring traffic to that website. A way of bringing traffic to a web site is by Pay-Per-Click marketing. Unless you have studied a few books about PPC and truly understand how it works, its one of the quickest ways to empty your bank account. I would venture to say that just about every affiliate marketer starting out has lost money with PPC, including yours truly.
So how to you get traffic to your site? And by traffic, I mean targeted traffic, which means people who come to your site, interested in what you have to offer them. One of the best ways is to write articles pertaining to your subject or product and distribute them on the web. This is called viral marketing. It spreads. You can do a Google search on article distribution sites and sign up to have them distribute your article. Now, these sites all charge various fees for doing this, but it is well worth the money. If you do a search for article sites you will quickly see there are hundreds of them. To submit just one article to them is very time consuming. To go back to the article distribution sites for just a moment, you should know that there is very little overlap in where each one distributes your articles. Every distribution service usually has its own unique list of places.
Who says you can’t write an article? Just because you haven’t done so, does not mean you can’t. You can hire a ghost writer to do it for you. Just do a search on the web for “ghost writers” and many sites will come up for you to choose from. You can also buy a e-book or two that will teach you how to write an article. Or buy one at the book store. This is the best way to get traffic to your website, so learn how to do it. Pretty soon, it will be second nature to you, just like when you learned to ride a bike. Once you read a few articles on the web, you will see that a lot of them follow a pattern, as good articles should.
Okay, now you have traffic to your site, what do you do now? You must make your offer enticing to the customer so he or she will buy yout product. Reviews are very powerful and testimonials are as well. Or you can just write up a little something that explains the benefits of your product to your customers. Notice I said benefits ” not features. A feature is that the camera has a steadying mechanism that obviously steadies the camera as you take the picture. But what do the people want? They want pictures that arent blurry or fuzzy ” thats the benefit.
Follow these guidelines and you will be well on your way to getting your first affiliate sale. And don’t give up, it all takes time. Good luck!
