How to import, DIGITAL CAMERA VIDEO CAM VIDS?
hey i have a Panasonic digital video camera model no. NV-GS11GN if this is useful I got BK to the end of 2004 … i want to know how to import video on a PC or a Mac are … (I do FireWire PC and does not get a) im pretty sure that my Mac has FireWire imbuilt if every time I Plugg USB 2.0 cable it does not automatically mount on my Mac, instead i cannot find … I tried to find ways to import images and video, I heard you do it through iPhoto but the problem is that i cannot find the device or locate any sequence of the same import: S please help … I really want to change my video:) Thank you, let me know if you need more information:)
The Panasonic NV-GS11 is a miniDV PAL format video tape camcorder. For video high quality import, use a FireWire cable to connect the DV port (not USB) to your computer's FireWire port (not USB). Launch video editor, the camcorder – in playback mode or VCR … The import or capture video. The DV port notes on a miniDV camcorder for consumers is always 4-pin. The FireWire port on Mac (most have one – some MacBook does) may be 6 pin or 9 pin. Since we do not know who you have Mac there is no way for us to know. In all cases, the import – or capture – using iMovie. To Clearly, you need either a 4-pin to 6 pin or 4-pin IEEE1394 9 pin (Firewire, DV, i.LINK) cable. I received a pin to 6 pin cable 9 and a 6-pin to 4-pin adapter, 2 m FireWire cable Fry for my 24 "iMac and Sony miniDV camcorder a few months ago for about $ 15. USB has in the past been used to broadcast highly compressed, low quality video to Windows – or transfer photos from a memory card only. The USB streaming can not be sustained and can not work.
