How do I connect my video camera to send and receive video mail?

I just got a camera for my laptop. I’m the most computer illiterate person on the planet. I would like some help on how to connect to video mail.

It depends on the type of camera that you got and your computer, if it is a standard camera that is designed for computers all you have to do is connect it to a USB port. If your computer is running Windows XP it should recognize it
