Is the sony bloggie video camera compatible with imovie for mac?

I was thinking about buying the sony bloggie for uploading videos to youtube, but I wanted to know if it would work with imovie for my mac computer because it’s the editing software i like to use (and i already have it). Does anyone know and can help me out? Thanks!

The bloggie camera specs shows that it records video and photos in files that can be viewed and edited on compatible Macs and PCs. I believe they include a program with the camera called PMB and Picture Motion Browser 5.0.

Video files can be edited in just about any editing program as long as the video file is supported by that program. That said, there are converters that can be used if your program doesn’t support a particular format.
