Whats the best camera to get if your looking at photography?
so im 14 and extremely interested and love photography.
for my bday i asked my parents for a new camera. i want something thats obviously very good.
but not too expensive!!!!
my dad needs to get it from walmart because hes in alaska right now working and he gets it cheaper there (because i live in canada)
what are some good cameras that he could buy in the store?

i started out using just a nikon coolpix (one of the crappy little digital ones.. it was just mostly a fun camera for me and my friends)
then i started using my parents panasonic lumix.. which was really great, because it had a great focus, 12x zoom, and it was the kinda “pro” kind.
im looking for a professional one now.. since i have gotten quite good.
If your looking for a pro camera then look at the consumer end of the Nikon or Canon DSLR lines.
The Canon XT, XTi, or XSi would be a good choice for your first DSLR.
