What is the best web camera & program (at a good value) to use to record & spy on sneaky people in your home?

I have reason to believe that some of my roommates friends are sneaking into the house when we’re gone and stealing things from me. I need a good quality small camera to hook to my computer and a program that will record all day and store the video.

Note that you should LOCK your computer and set a password for your account in Windows XP (to lock a computer it’s hold CTRL ALT and DELETE and click LOCK COMPUTER). If you don’t, they will just close the software or figure out that you are spying on them.
